Security Fence Systems, INC was founded in the year 1971 by Gerald Capano, Sr., following his graduation from high school. It started as a small residential fence company, and in those early years business was difficult but successful.
During the winter of 1980 we started the snow removal subsidiary of Security Fence Co.
In 1985, we started to do government and municipal work on a larger and steadier scale. We secured our first Bond in 1986 and sales have steadily increased 10-15% annually.
In 1986, Security Fence Company registered as a New York State corporation.
In 1999, Security Fence started the in-house automatic gate and repair business and in the year 2000, we started producing our own tubular wrought iron.
Security Fence Systems currently employs 30-35 people and sales continue to increase in volume on a steady basis. We have been working on large scale projects over the last 6 years. Our jobs completed list contains jobs that range from $100,000 to $4,000,000. We work for all of the Municipal Agencies for example (NYC Transit, Dept. of Environmental, Etc.)
